Part Time Guest Experience Specialist

In this role you will play a valuable role in the day-to-day operations of two busy bed and breakfasts by providing exceptional guest services, assist with daily operations, and provide a welcoming environment to guests.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services & Inn Management:

  • Greet and check-in/check-out guests with professionalism and warmth.
  • Answer phones and make reservations.  Competency in using a light computer application required.
  • Provide concierge services, including recommending local attractions, dining, and activities.
  • Light housekeeping to assist with maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and outdoor spaces to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, and inquiries to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Support the Innkeeper with administrative tasks such as reservations, inventory management, and vendor coordination.

  • Assist with the marketing and promotion of events to attract new business.
 
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant service, and event management, or a similar role is helpful
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
  • Maturity, reliability and a great work ethic essential.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings for events.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a small team.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for periods of time, walk stairs and lift to 25 lbs..
