Recreation Program Instructor

We are seeking a Recreation Program Instructor to join the Vista team in our Connect Day Program. “Connect” is a program of daily activities in a scheduled routine, structured to fit the needs of each individual. Activities include work, fitness, group instruction for life skills, and social support training.

Responsibilities for a Recreation Program Instructor include:

  • Providing opportunities for program members to practice daily living skills via social, group, recreational, and community-based activities
  • Working in a team-based environment with other program instructors to facilitate group activities with program members
  • Assisting in the skills-building evaluation process and providing appropriate trainings
Requirements for a Recreation Program Instructor include:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of related experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
  • Ability to obtain a Public Service License within 90-days of hire
Location: This position is based at our newly renovated Madison, CT campus

Job Type/Shift InformationFull-Time position, Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm
Hourly Rate: $20.00
