About Us

At Astra Studio, we believe in the power and ability of everyone to shine when they take the stage. From the youngest dancers we meet at Acton Library events to drop-in Tap classes for our 55 & over population Tuesday afternoons at the Estuary Center, we at Astra Studio firmly believe that dance is for everyBODY!

During the academic year, we offer a wide variety of dance classes to our Studio Dancers, as well as a competitive program for our Dance Company. In the summers, you can find us sharing our love of dance in camps and special summer classes for all ages.

We strive to foster a love of the performing arts and lifetime learning, while helping performers find their creative voice. Dance genres include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Musical Theater, Pointe, and more.

You can find us performing at our annual recital in the Spring, a holiday show in December, and involved in community events throughout the year like the Starlight Festival, Torchlight Parade, Lions Day Health & Wellness, and Celebrate Saybrook Street Festival. You can catch some of our teens at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year!
