Old Saybrook Lions Club benefit for Camp Rising Sun

Greetings!
On Sunday September 22, 2024, the Old Saybrook Lions Club proudly presents a benefit, Misgivings, for Camp Rising Sun at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, 300 Main Street, Old Saybrook. MisGivings is a "Divine" comedy of belly laughs, blessings, blarney and bingo. Join Father Patrick Aloysius Misgivings for his divine presentation of stories and one liners about growing up Catholic. Nothing escapes the good father's razor sharp Irish wit. This hilarious interactive comedy includes a collection, a raffle and even an actual Bingo game.

The Old Saybrook Lions Club has been involved with Camp Rising Sun for many years. Camp Rising Sun welcomes children who have a diagnosis of cancer and their siblings. The camp is open to children ages 5-17 that are in treatment, remission, or anywhere in between. During Camp Week, campers make new friends, participate in traditional camp activities and have as much fun as possible. A group of highly trained, caring and fun-loving
counselors and medical staff volunteer their time to make camp a safe and nurturing environment.

Thanks to our generous donors and supporters, all campers are able to attend completely free! You can help the Old Saybrook Lions Club in supporting Camp Rising Sun by purchasing an ad in the program. (all ads are black and white)
