32nd Annual Poetry Competition

Rules for all participants (if not followed, poem will be disqualified):

• Poems must be original and unpublished (no AI generated poems)
• Author must be a Connecticut resident
• One poem per letter size page (one side of page only, white, 8.5 x 11, font size no less than 12 pt. in a readable font – typed is preferred)
• No more than 40 lines per poem
• All poems must have titles
• Author’s name, address, phone number and division should appear on the back of the poem (Poet’s name is not given to the judges)
• No more than three entries per person (only 1 prize per person)
• Poems may be hand delivered or mailed to the library at 60 Old Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, CT 06475 or emailed to: cbaklik@actonlibrary.org
